All Troll Locations God Of War Ragnarok Complete Troll Location Guide
Finding every hidden sleeping troll across the Nine Realms is one of the most rewarding post-game tasks in God of War Ragnarok. These dormant statues can only be awakened using a specific key item found during your exploration. Defeating all four stone trolls yields rare crafting materials necessary to forge the highly protective Steinbjorn armor set.
Acquiring the Mystical Heirloom Relic
Before you can battle any stone trolls, you must first locate the Mystical Heirloom relic. This key item is hidden in Midgard, situated south of Tyr's Temple behind a glowing ice wall. Using the Draupnir Spear breaks the ice barrier, revealing the relic beside a fallen dwarf. Equipping this item lets you activate nearby dormant statues by pressing the relic trigger buttons.
Finding the Midgard and Alfheim Trolls
The first sleeping troll, Blodugr Steinn, is located at the Derelict Outpost in Midgard. Travel past the Lost Treasury and climb up the path to spot the petrified giant waiting to be awakened. For the second troll, head to the Forbidden Sands in northern Alfheim. Bjarg Stormr rests in the far southwestern platform of the desert region near a lore marker.

The collected Slumber Stones unlock the crafting recipes for the Steinbjorn Plackart, Gauntlets, and Waist Guard.
